On Tuesday I had the pleasure of photographing Tania and Gary’s wedding in the beautiful city of Bath. Tania and Gary were adamant that they didn’t want any posed pictures at all…no formal groups or portraits…just documentary coverage of their ceremony at the Guildhall and afterwards the celebrations with their friends and family at a nearby restaurant. It was a real delight to get to photograph in this way as this is the style I most like to work in….taking unobtrusive pictures that tell the story of a couple’s day.
Tania works in fashion so it wasn’t a surprise that she had an amazing dress to get married in…a vintage 60′s dress that was worn at Studio 64 bought from Lily Allen’s store in Soho. What a gorgeous colour it was too!
