Wow! Where does the time go? I’d meant to write this post at the end of last year as a way to sum up last year and make some announcements for 2011, but we are already more than 2 weeks into the new year and I’m only just getting round to writing it now – better late than never I guess!
2010 was another busy and successful year for my photography business, and I am really enjoying the move back to doing 100% weddings now that the studio is no more. I had another bunch of wonderful clients throughout the year resulting in a wide variety of different weddings for me to photograph throughout the South West. The majority of my weddings in 2010 were within my usual counties of Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Wiltshire, and the only time I ventured further afield was in June when I had one on the Isle of Wight!
And so here we are in 2011…a year that will involve some major life changes for me because I am expecting my first baby in March! This means that I will be on maternity leave until the end of June and will resume shooting weddings from July onwards. Over the next few months I will obviously be quite busy with the new arrival so I ask that my couples – both old and new – bear with me as I will try to respond to any correspondence or new enquiries when I get the chance.
If you’re getting married from July onwards and considering me as your photographer please do still get in touch…it might be that we will be unable to meet up until closer to your wedding date but I am always happy to have a chat about your plans and photography requirements over the phone.
I have a fair few weddings already in the diary for 2011 and will be strictly limiting the number of bookings I take in total for this year…so please do get in touch sooner rather than later if you would like to reserve my services for your big day.
