The second of my Christmas/New Year weddings was that of Caroline & Ed who got married on New Year’s Eve at the wonderful venue of St Audries Park, West Quantoxhead, Somerset.
Caroline & Ed had also chosen to have a church service, making use of St Audries estate church St Etheldred’s. As usual I started my coverage of the day with Caroline, but made time to nip over to where the boys were getting ready to photograph Ed’s preparations too. Once Caroline was dressed I headed over to the church to capture the arrival of some of the guests.
St Etheldred’s is a great church for photographing the ceremony as there is room to move around discreetly and capture the action from lots of different perspectives – something I always love to do! After the ceremony was over everyone made their way outside to congratulate the couple by throwing confetti. Then it was back to the main house for the drinks reception, where Caroline, Ed and I stole away for a few minutes to get some romantic portraits of the two of them.
