Somerset Wedding Photography – Sian & Adam at Priston Mill

Sian and Adam’s wedding took place in the Wiltshire village of Winsley, just outside of Bradford on Avon. St Nicholas’ church looked picture perfect with it’s light covering of snow and everything felt very festive! I started my coverage as usual with the preparations at nearby Wooley Grange where I photographed Sian getting ready with her bridesmaids and mum and Adam getting ready with his best man and Dad. Everyone was pretty calm although excited by the day’s events! Sian’s dress was a gorgeous design by Caroline Castigliano and with a fantastic lace hairpiece which made her look like a hollywood starlet from the past.

After the church, the couple braved the cold to stand outside and receive hugs and congratulations from all of their guests before hopping on board a vintage bus to be taken to their reception at Priston Mill, just outside of Bath. After an eventful drive through the lanes to reach Priston Mill, we all finally arrived and were relieved to make our way inside to the warmth! The Tythe Barn looked beautiful with the table decorations that Sian had organised, including thousands of ceramic birds that she and her mum must have spent ages making. And the Christmas tree in the corner added to the festive atmosphere. It truly was a wonderful day and for me an absolute pleasure to be a part of Sian and Adam’s celebrations.
