What an absolutely glorious day it was on Friday for Shelley & Stephen’s wedding! You know I’m starting to believe they might be right about us having a great summer this year…keep those fingers crossed!
With Shelley & Stephen both getting ready at Orchardleigh House I was able to cover both their preparations, then it was off to Lullington church, just the other side of the estate for their ceremony. The little church was bedecked with candles, which made it very atmospheric, especially as it was so packed with their friends and family. Outside everyone congratulated the newlyweds before throwing confetti over them as they made their way to the car.
Back at Orchardleigh everyone made their way outside and enjoyed the sunshine, champagne and canapes. Shelley & Stephen had their speeches before the meal so I was able to cover these before I left. And despite some hitches with the projection equipment the speeches were funny and entertaining – and I captured some great reactions from Shelley in particular!
