Wedding Photographers Bristol, Somerset Wedding Photography

It was back to Hestercombe Gardens today for a pre-wedding portrait session with Amanda & Simon. As I left Yeovil the skies were clear and blue, but on reaching Taunton it was all overcast and a bit chilly. Not to worry as it was actually pretty good weather for photos – except for the chilly bit! We were able to make use of the whole of the gardens and got some great images. Here are some of my favourites:

Yesterday I photographed Magda & Patrick’s wedding at Babington House. I was a bit worried to start with because it was chucking it down with rain all through the morning, but luckily by the afternoon it had all cleared away, leaving us with beautiful sunshine and blue skies!

Magda got ready in Babington’s Play Room with her five bridesmaids, each of whom had designed their very own dress to suit their style, but all in the same shade of purple. With everyone getting ready in one place I was also able to capture Patrick and the guys preparations.

After a wonderful service in St Mary’s church there were drinks and canapes on the front lawn – until the wind made it too cold and everyone retreated inside to the bar!

A change of scene for today’s pre-wedding portrait session with Eleanor & Simon – this time we headed to Hestercombe Gardens, near Taunton. The daffodils were out in bloom here as well and so I made full use of them! It’s a shame the nice weather has passed but at least it meant we had the whole place pretty much to ourselves. Another beautiful day for Sass & Dave’s pre-wedding portrait session! I’m starting to get used to this lovely sunny weather and know I’m only going to be disappointed when it starts raining again!

Stourhead Gardens were very busy again, which made it tricky to get some shots as there were so many people milling around, but Sass & Dave didn’t seem fazed by their audience! Here are some images from their session:

What a gorgeous day we had today…makes me think that summer’s on the way…but then it will probably start snowing again next week! But that doesn’t matter because today I did a pre-wedding portrait shoot with Becca and Ed who are getting married later this year.

Ed was a little bit unsure about the whole photo shoot thing but I think I won him round in the end! And the daffodils were finally out at Stourhead Gardens so we just had to get a shot with them in. Here are few from their session:
