On Saturday I was in Bath for Hannah & James’ wedding. I started with the guys and caused a bit of a panic when I turned up as they were still chowing down bacon and egg butties! I always find it amusing watching the guys trying to work out how to do their cravats but luckily best man Mike stepped in to help James (and the others!) out.
Then it was over to Hannah’s parent’s place to cover the girls getting ready. Hannah’s dress was vintage inspired and she looked simply gorgeous in it. And her 9 foot (!) lace trimmed veil complemented the dress perfectly.
The ceremony took place at the chapel in Prior Park College, where Hannah used to go to school. Say the word chapel and you imagine something small, but this place was huge – more like an abbey! It was also lovely and light which allowed me to get some fantastic images of the service. Afterwards everyone moved over to the mansion where drinks and canapes were served whilst the guest enjoyed the amazing view across Prior Park and the hills of Bath beyond.
Later everyone headed to the cricket pitch in the little village of Monkton Combe where the wedding breakfast was served. The marquee was decorated beautifully with a vintage/seaside theme in keeping with James’ proposal to Hannah down in St. Ives.
Below are some of my favourite images from their day.
