And another one of my wedding is being featured in the current issue of Wedding Ideas magazine. Emily and Andrew (a.k.a. Fish) were also married in September last year at Stoodleigh Court and their article starts on page 164.

I’m sorry for the delay in blogging about Becky & Jon’s wedding last weekend – I’ve been in London all through the week – but here’s their post and hopefully it’s worth the wait!
Last Saturday saw me heading up to Wiltshire for Becky & Jon’s wedding and reception at the Rectory Hotel in Crudwell. It was a beautiful day, although there were some ominous dark clouds in the afternoon which made for some dramatic photographs! I started with Becky and the girls getting ready and although it would have made a very funny photo I didn’t get any pictures of them all in their magic pants!
Unfortunately with this being Wiltshire there were no photographs allowed at all during the ceremony – really disappointing as it’s obviously such an important part of the day and deserves to go in their album – but try explaining that to the Wiltshire registrars! The high point of the service for me was the reading of ‘The Owl & the Pussycat’ by Jon’s usher Andrew – who did a sterling job.
The reception followed in the beautiful grounds of the hotel and Becky, Jon and I headed off for some photographs. I knew when I first met these two that they were going to be great fun to work with – and I wasn’t wrong. We had a blast and got some really great shots.

It was hard to choose, but here are some of my favourites from their day:
Last week I met up with Hannah and James who are getting married in August to do their pre-wedding planning session at Prior Park in Bath. They are getting married in the chapel at Prior Park College – which also happens to be where Hannah went to school!
It was great to catch up with Hannah and hear all about how her plans are progress and also to meet James for the first time. Unfortunately we ended up chatting so much that we only had 15 minutes left for photographs before risking getting locked in the park for the night – so that was fun! Not so much fun was the awful walk back to the car park up the steep hill – my legs were killing me!
Here are some images from their session:
On Saturday I had great fun photographing Katie & Richard’s wedding. They were married at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles church in Tweentown, near Cheddar, followed by a marquee reception in the grounds of Katie’s parents house in Badgworth, Somerset.
Katie got ready at her parents house with her bridesmaids and mum before heading to church in a stylish Mercedes, where Richard was waiting nervously! The wedding service was followed by a traditional Catholic mass and then it was back to Badgworth by bus for everyone.
It was a glorious day for a garden reception and everyone was kept topped up with drinks and canapes whilst they enjoyed the sunshine. Katie, Richard and I managed to sneak off for some photographs around the pretty grounds and then I left them to enjoy their meal in the beautifully decorated marquee.
