Wedding Photographers Bristol, Somerset Wedding Photography

Just a quick announcement to say that I will be exhibiting at the wedding fair being held at Ston Easton Park this Sunday – 30th March 2008. The fair will open at 11am and run until 4pm (I think!).

I hope you get the chance to pop down for a look around – if you do don’t forget to stop by my stand and say “Hi!”.

Well I hope you all had a lovely Easter break…I managed to get away for a few days and went to visit my relatives up in the Lake District. It was lovely to see them as it’s been a while and we had an enjoyable time going for walks and eating cake! Ok, so it was mostly eating cake! Here is a picture (taken by my uncle John) of me with my auntie Denise, brother Matt and his fiance Sarah at Tarn Hows.

Anyway now it’s back to work and after checking my calendar I realised that I only have availability for FOUR more weddings this year. I only take on 30 weddings in a single year as this allows me to give the level of personal attention and care that I feel my clients deserve. My 2008 calendar has been filling up rapidly since Christmas and even 2009 is starting to book up pretty fast – especially for those prime summer Saturdays!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Rachael & Ben’s wedding at Priston Mill near Bristol. Unfortunately the weather was against us and it rained pretty much continuously for the whole day – but as both the ceremony and reception took place at Priston Mill it didn’t bother anyone! The rain even stopped just long enough to get the family groups shots done outside and for me to spend some time together with Rachael & Ben and get some lovely relaxed portraits of the two of them.

On Friday I was back at Stourhead for Belinda and Tim’s pre-wedding portrait session. It was great to catch up with Belinda and to meet Tim for the first time. They are a lovely couple and so easy to work with – they just laughed the whole way through the session!

I’m glad to hear that I put Tim’s nerves to rest before the big day and I know you are both dying to see some pictures from your shoot so hear you go…

This week I got to catch up with Michelle, Nathan and baby Charlie again and we had a blast! I’m documenting Charlie’s first year and this was his second session with me. He’s a natural in front of the camera and loves having his picture taken…which makes my job easy! Here are a few of my favourites from this session:
