Rachel & Trevor’s Wedding at Bishop’s Court

The Saturday before last saw me photographing Rachel & Trevor’s wedding in Pinhoe. Another wonderfully sunny winter’s day was in store for us and the snowdrops were out at Bishop’s Court – where they had their reception.

The church service was one of the best I’ve attended – I actually thought the vicar knew Rachel & Trevor the way he spoke and joked about them. He was so good the best man had to re-write his speech because the vicar had used some of his lines!

Rachel and Trevor are off on a very extended honeymoon in Africa and Asia and won’t get to see their photographs for quite a while. So I’ve decided to post a little slideshow of some of my favourite images from their day. Just click on the arrow below to make it play.

R & T – wherever you are! – I hope you enjoy it!

Mother’s Day Special Offer

Mother’s Day is coming up on 2nd March and to celebrate I am offering half off on all maternity and newborn baby portrait sessions booked by 31st March 2008.

As a special bonus if you’re one of the first five to book a session you’ll also get 40% off the regular price of either a maternity or newborn portrait collection.

To take advantage of this offer email me or give me a call on 01935 848881.

Maternity sessions are great way to start documenting your baby’s life and also this miraculous time in your own life. It’s all about capturing the simple grace and beauty of motherhood. The best time to schedule this type of session is for sometime between weeks 30 and 36 of your pregnancy.

Newborn baby sessions are exactly that – your baby’s first portrait! These take place within the first 3 weeks of your new baby’s life although the very best time is between the first 7 to 10 days as this is when they are still very sleepy and looking brand new!

It’s essential to book these sort of portrait sessions quickly as special dates are reserved on my calendar to accommodate these sessions due to their immediate need.

Rachael & Ben’s Pre-Wedding Portrait Session

And then my final pre-wedding session at Ashton Court was with Rachael and Ben – who will be my next wedding couple in March! These guys took a little while to loosen up and Rachael had the giggles constantly but once they relaxed a bit I think they actually enjoyed it. But hey, I’ll take giggles any day over frowns!

Here are some pictures from their session:

Jayne & Neil’s Pre-Wedding Portrait Session

The second session from my all-day pre-wedding shoot the other weekend at Ashton Court Mansion was with Jayne & Neil who are getting married in May. It was great to catch up and hear all about how their plans are coming along…and also to meet chief bridesmaid Helen who’d come along for the fun!

These guys are really laid back and I just know that their day is going to be great…I’m looking forward to May!

Here are a few of my favourite pictures from their session:

Sadia & Damian’s Pre-Wedding Portrait Session

I’m feeling very guilty for not posting for a few weeks but I’ll be making it up to you from now on! I have three pre-wedding sessions to blog about from my recent all-day bash at Ashton Court Mansion and also pictures from Rachel & Trevor’s wedding last weekend coming up!

First off – here’s pictures from Sadia and Damian’s pre-wedding session. They are getting married in April and were so easy to work with I know that their wedding days are going to be a breeze. I say days because these guys are doing it twice – over two days!

So here are a few fun images from their shoot:
