Wedding Photographers Bristol, Somerset Wedding Photography

Saturday saw me photographing my last wedding until December – but don’t worry I’ll still be blogging every week! Helen & Gus got married at Athelhampton House near Dorchester and had a lovely ceremony where they each added their own vows.

The weather held long enough for us to make use of the wonderful grounds for their photographs and Gus and his best man’s speeches were some of the most emotional I’ve seen in a while!

Last Saturday saw me covering Sarah & John’s wedding at St. Barnabas church in Warmley, followed by their reception at Chewton Place, just outside of Bristol.

Sarah told me that within a night of getting engaged she had already planned the whole wedding in her head! Well, it was a good plan because the day was fantastic! Poor John was a nervous wreck before the service but it all went well and soon they were outside enjoying themselves with their guests.

Last Saturday was Julie & Robert’s wedding at Hestercombe House and Gardens near Taunton. I often use Hestercombe for pre-wedding shoots as its grounds are so fantastic – everywhere you turn there’s another photo opportunity! So it was great fun getting to photograph a wedding there.

It looked even more stunning than usual because of the lovely Autumn colours and this was the theme of Julie & Robert’s wedding – from the bouquets to the mini sugarcraft conkers and leaves surrounding the cake!

Last weekend I photographed Shaney & John’s wedding at Ashton Court Mansion, Bristol. It was a fantastic wedding and I was made to feel so welcome during the girly preparations with Shaney, the bridesmaids, the mums and not forgetting Shaney’s dad who had to put up with all the girls!

After a lovely service at Leigh Woods church during which Shaney got a little bit emotional, everyone made their way to Ashton Court for the reception. It was great fun to recreate some of their pre-wedding session images from just a week before as well as try some new things.

I really enjoyed being part of their special day!
