Well on Saturday I was supposed to be photographing Sian & Matthew’s wedding up in Abergavenny, Wales, and I duly travelled up the night before so as to avoid any potential delays on the morning of the wedding.
The only problem was I wasn’t feeling all that good, and as the night wore on I got worse. When I woke in the morning I didn’t think I was going to be able to get out of bed I felt that ill!
This situation is something I have been dreading happening…mine is not a job where you can call in sick! And that’s why it is so important to have back up support that you can call on in such an emergency. My first port of call is Simon Harris – an amazing photographer (and friend!) who immediately agreed to drop everything and come up to Wales to help me out in case I couldn’t make it through the whole day.
Sian & Matthew were amazingly calm and relaxed about the situation and between us Simon and I managed to take some wonderful photographs of their day. So here is a big thank you to Simon and another to Sian & Matt…THANK YOU!!!!
Anyway…back to Sian & Matt’s wedding – it was clear for anyone to see how much in love these two are – Matthew could barely take his eyes of Sian throughout the whole ceremony! Here are some photographs from their day…
