Saturday 18th August saw me covering a wedding at another lovely local venue – Hunstrete House. Glenys and David were second-time-rounders and their wedding was a small and intimate celebration with close friends and family. They took a really relaxed, informal approach to their day with David collecting Glenys from her room and escorting her to the ceremony.
Here are a few pictures from their day…
Sorry – I’m a bit behind with blogging at the moment but doing my best to catch up!
On Friday 17th August I had the pleasure of photographing Gaby & Matt’s wedding at the wonderful Ston Easton Park – one of my very favourite venues!
Gaby and Matt are a great couple and I had an absolute fab time with them and their families. Gaby is from Switzerland so the ceremony had readings in both English and German – but luckily the speeches were in English so I could understand all the jokes!
We had a great time doing the family informals and portraits of the two of them in the wonderful grounds and now they are enjoying their honeymoon in Nambia – fantastic! Here are few pictures from their day…
My second wedding from last weekend (12th August) was at the lovely Orchardleigh House, near Frome in Somerset. Sarah & Garin had a lovely service followed by a naming ceremony for their baby Olivia.
Afterwards everyone got to relax in the sunshine outside whilst the children (and there were over 30 of them!) got to play on the bouncy castle and with various lawn games.
Here are a few pictures from their day….
I had two weddings this weekend…the first was on Friday. Nicola & Wayne got married at Soundwell Church and had their reception at The Park, Wick – one of my favourite local venues.
You might remember Nicola and Wayne from their pre-wedding portrait session a few weeks ago when their dog Jasper jumped into the pond and proceeded to chase us around the grounds of Ashton Court Mansion? Well, luckily this time Jasper was nowhere to be seen! Quite fortunate for Nicola as she definitely didn’t want any muddy pawprints on her beautiful dress.
Here are a few pictures from their day…the first is Nicola receiving a necklace as a gift from Wayne!
